1. Who we are

QuitLosing ("we", "us", "our") is a trader-education brand operated by its founder and principal, Manoj Maheshwari, based in Mumbai, India. We operate the websites quitlosing.in and practice.quitlosing.in, and we publish educational content for traders through these and related channels.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data collected through our services.

We collect personal data that you provide to us directly, and a small amount of technical data automatically when you use our services.

4. How long we keep your data

You may request deletion at any time via grievance@quitlosing.in. We act on valid requests within 30 days.

5. Who we share data with

We share your personal data only with service providers we rely on to run our services. Each processor is bound by a confidentiality obligation and processes data only on our instructions.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising targeting by third parties. We do not transfer it to any party not listed above without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

Cross-border transfers

Some of our processors (Supabase, DigitalOcean) host data outside India. The DPDP Act permits such transfers unless the Central Government specifically restricts a jurisdiction. We maintain written agreements with these processors requiring them to protect your data to at least the standard required under Indian law.

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer (see Section 9). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

7. How we protect your data

No internet service is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach that significantly affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India within the statutory timeframe.

8. Children's data

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected a child's data, contact us and we will delete it.

We respond to grievances within 15 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. For material changes that affect your rights, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our site before the change takes effect.

11. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
